***Participants must attend all sessions & complete online coursework. Written test may be taken on Sunday May 5th, or Monday May 6th after school. 4/29, 4/30, 5/1, 5/2: 4-6pm, 5/3, 5/4: 8am-4pm, & 5/5: 8am-1pm

This course will provide lifeguard candidates with the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies and to provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses. Participants will receive a certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED valid for 2 years. Course requirements: Interested candiddates must be 15 years of age on or before the final scheduled class. Attendance is mandatory at all classes. Candidates will be required to pass a swim test on the first day of class, to continue with the course.
