Certification requires attendance at all sessions.  Pre-test may be scheduled by appointment, please email clane@cysd.k12.pa.us to schedule.  

This course will provide lifeguard candidates with the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies and to provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses. Participants will receive a certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED valid for 2 years. Course requirements: Interested candiddates must be 15 years of age on or before the final scheduled class. Attendance is mandatory at all classes. Candidates will be required to pass a swim test on the first day of class, to continue with the course.
